A few days ago, Donald Trump challenged Joe Biden to an 18-hole match. Now, the current POTUS has responded to the former President in his recent speech.
Amid the election fever in the country, Trump and Biden have also engaged in a debate about their golf skills. They first questioned each other’s abilities at the Presidential Debate. Then the Republican leader challenged Biden to an 18-hole charity match, which the President’s spokesperson declined.On Thursday, June 11, during the NATO Summit in Washington, D.C., Joe Biden took a dig at the former POTUS.
“My schedule has been full bore,” he said. “Where has Trump been? Riding out his golf cart, filling out his scorecard before he hits the ball, I mean look, he (Trump) has done virtually nothing.”
Earlier Biden’s spokesperson had rejected Donald Trump’s 18-hole golf challenge.
“Joe Biden doesn’t have time for Donald Trump’s weird antics – he’s busy leading America and defending the free world,” he said as per Essentially Sports.
Notably, Trump had claimed that he would give $1 million to any charity of Biden’s choice if the latter won the 18-hole golf match. He also added that he would give 20 stroke advantage to the 81-year-old.
