Phil Mickelson has admitted to a confessional with Tiger Woods earlier this week while practicing at Royal Troon in the run up to the British Open.
The 54-year-old admitted on Saturday that he and Woods had greeted each other while hitting balls from nearby stalls at the driving range. Mickelson acknowledged that they were polite to each other, but added that they were too focused on their respective preparations to build a friendship beyond a greeting.
