Jim Justice, a Republican candidate for US Senate, is fighting to keep his iconic Greenbrier hotel.” On Wednesday, the West Virginia Daily News announced the public auction, leaving Greg Norman’s massive plans for the league in disarray.Justice bought it back in 2009, saving it from bankruptcy, but it looks like the fate of the property is unfortunate, as history has indeed repeated itself. As per the news, there is a legal notice announcing the public auction near White Sulphur Springs due to unpaid debts.This is currently known to be only a meager portion of the financial woes of the Justice family. Ryan Ballengee, the Golf News Net journalist, took to his official X account and shared the news, writing, “Just in time for LIV Golf Greenbrier! (I’m a big fan of the resort.)”. But it looks like 2025 will no longer have LIV Golf Greenbrier on the breakaway league’s event calendar.But this year, LIV Golf has gone above and beyond with its venues.
