Greg Norman reacts to claims Jon Rahm wants to leave LIV golf and re-join the PGA Tour

Greg Norman has responded in telling fashion to claims that Jon Rahm is unhappy with his situation on the LIV Tour right now.

Norman, the CEO of LIV Golf, has often been outspoken on a number of issues and is never afraid to throw his opinion into things.

Of course, the story at play here comes amid reports that

Rahm signed a huge contract worth around $500m with LIV while there’s been speculation

However, while murmurs of discontent from Rahm are there, CEO Norman has hit back at those reports.

Greg Norman says talk of Jon Rahm leaving LIV Golf is ‘laughable’

Speaking about the reports in quotes provided by, Norman has said that talk of Rahm wanting out is effectively ridiculous.

“I read an article yesterday about how Jon is so unhappy here [LIV Golf] and that he wants to give back his money. It’s just not true,” Norman said.

“You speak to Jon’s general manager, it’s like laughable. I just truly don’t get it. I truly don’t get the divide.

“The division is still there when we are actually showing how we do work within the ecosystem and how the ecosystem is accepting us and how the people are speaking out there.

“I just don’t understand why it is this way. It tells you there is some deep seeded something there, but we are going to keep ploughing through it and stay true to ourselves.”

Rahm is obviously fine over on LIV

There was a time when Jon Rahm didn’t appear his happiest but in recent months he’s found form on an individual level and also on a team level.

His Legion XIII team are one of the top contenders now and Rahm himself finally won an event.

Further, he also did well in the Olympics with Spain and there’s absolutely no doubt he seems to have a smile back about himself.

As Norman says here, the constant talk of LIV players being unhappy is just unsettling but on the other hand, it’s not going to go away any time soon.
