The PGA Tour has revealed that before the Tour Championship, top golf content creators will compete in the “Creator Classic”, .
This nine-hole contest, scheduled for August 28, will see 16 of the most successful and skilled golf creators vying for the inaugural Creator Classic title. The competition will be divided into four groups of four players, with each participant playing individually in stroke play.
The tournament will kick off on the 10th hole at the revamped East Lake Golf Club, with each golfer playing holes 10 through 17. The four players with the lowest scores will then face off in a one-hole playoff.
In case of a tie, a chip-off will take place on hole 17 to decide the seedings, with those closest to the hole progressing to the final playoff hole.
The 31-year-old former pro recently shared her thoughts on being announced as one of the 16 competitors battling for the title, giving fans an honest insight into her mindset as she prepares to return to competitive golf after nearly a decade.
“It’s the week of the Creator Classic!” she began her post on X. “Although nervous to play competitive stroke play again (it’s been 8 years) I’m excited for this amazing opportunity! The goal is to have fun.”
Golf sensation Paige Spiranac has been candid about her expectations for the upcoming Creator Classic, where she’ll be pitting her skills against top golf content creators. Despite being away from competitive play for a while, she humorously admitted to keeping her hopes in check.
“I might win most golf balls lost but that’s about it lol,” she quipped on X, also mentioning she’s bracing herself to finish last. Nevertheless, Spiranac expressed her excitement on Instagram about joining the fray with the best in the business, even if she’s pegged as the underdog.
“So excited to be playing! ” she shared, according to Essentially Sports. “It is coming up very soon. Just trying to get some reps in right now on the golf course. Pressure’s off because odds are in and I am the favorite to come at last place.
“It can only go up from here, now I can just go out and have some fun. I am nervous, I don’t know how I’m going to do. But game feels okay.”
Even though the golf star is nervous about her performance, she has the backing of millions of fans on social media. On YouTube, Spiranac has approximately 426,000 subscribers, the lowest amount among all her accounts. She has four million followers on Instagram and 1.6 million TikTok followers. Overall, the 31-year-old has over six million followers on her social media platforms, showing how much support she will receive throughout the competition.

Paige Spiranac has ruled out creating content for OnlyFans, despite her success with golf-related material. She insists, “But for me and how I wanted my business to progress, I knew that it just wasn’t the right plan for me to go into,” adding, “And I’m more than happy to lean into the sexy, fun, cheeky side, but I never wanted my content to be something that my family couldn’t see.”
