Watch Bob MacIntyre unhappy as Rory McIlroy drives green while he’s putting out!
Rory McIlroy a almighty stare after the World No.3 drove the green while he was still putting out.
Bob MacIntyre was not best pleased with Rory McIlroy during the second round of the Dunhill Links on the DP World Tour.
That was after McIlroy drove the green at the par-4 14th while MacIntyre was standing over his 10-footer for birdie.
As MacIntyre contemplated the line of his putt, McIlroy smashed his drive down the fairway and it bounded into the heart of the green.
It should be noted the hole is playing 390 yards this week, but it downhill and downwind.
‘Oh they’re so slow…’ Sky Sports hit back as Tyrrell Hatton moans about the greens
MacIntyre turned around to the tee box and stood still for a few moments, clearly unhappy to have just been disturbed.
The Scot then continued to stand still as McIlroy’s playing partner Billy Horschel also fired away down the hole.
Sky Sports commentator Rich Beem said: “Bob seems a little annoyed by that.”
Nick Dougherty chimed in: “Yeah, definitely bristling a little there is Bob.”
Ewen Murray added: “Rory is preparing his apology by the looks of it!”
On-course commentator Iona Stephen then confirmed MacIntyre was “not a happy chappy” after seeing McIlroy drive while he was still on the green.

Rory McIlroy drove the green while Robert MacIntyre was about to putt. “I don’t think Bob is too impressed with that!”
The World No.3 will no doubt be offering an apology to MacIntyre after the round.
MacIntyre unfortunately found the burn with his second shot into the par-4 18th and it would lead to a double-bogey.
He signed for a level-par 72 to remain at 5-under par for the tournament.
