PETER WRIGHT broke down in tears live on TV after he dumped Michael van Gerwen out of the German Darts Championship.
Wright, 54, has endured a difficult time in front of the oche recently.

In a stunning display the Scot dumped out world No3 Michael van Gerwen 6-4 after coming from 4-2 down.
The display saw him hit an average of 109 and score six 180s.
During his post-match interview, fans began chanting his name.
Wright was taken aback by the singing, before the host said: “It kind of feels like Snakebite is on his way back?”
Choking back tears, an emotional Wright said: “I’m on the way back.”
Reacting to the flood of emotion, one fan said: “What a crowd. Love to see peter wright enjoying his darts once again.”
A second said: “Lovely guy, not a bad bone in his body! Would be nice to see him win this after a torrid 18 months or so! Come on Peter!!”
A third added: “PETER SNAKEBITE WRIGHT IS BACK BABY!”
Wright’s win over Mighty Mike secured him a spot in the semi-finals.

There he beat Dave Chisnall to book a place in the final.
He then played Luke Littler in the final, winning 8-5 and landing himself a cool £30,000.
