Tiger Woods-owned mini-golf course opening in San Antonio at end of October
Mini-golf entertainment company PopStroke’s long-awaited San Antonio location will finally open to the public Oct. 25, according to company officials.
The $5.2 million complex at 5539 Presidio Parkway in Northwest San Antonio will feature a 37-hole mini-golf course, casual dining and an ice cream parlor. The location, partially owned by golf great Tiger Woods, also will include expansive indoor and outdoor patios with cornhole and ping pong, an enclosed outdoor playground and a beer garden.
“I am excited to see PopStroke continue our expansion throughout Texas with our fourth location in the state,” Woods said in a statement. “Since announcing our plans, we’ve seen a tremendous wave of excitement within the San Antonio community. Popstroke is a great way for people of all ages and skill levels to connect around golf with family and friends.”
After its grand opening, PopStroke San Antonio will be open 9 a.m.-11 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday and 9 a.m.-midnight Thursday through Saturday.
PopStroke’s San Antonio location will be the company’s 14th nationally, with the others being in Alabama, Arizona, Florida, Nevada and South Carolina. The company operates three other outlets in Texas including Dallas, Houston and College Station.
Although the company hasn’t released prices for the San Antonio location, a round of golf at PopStroke’s Houston unit runs $30 for adults, $24 for seniors 60 years and older and $18 for kids between 3 and 12.
